Progress construction RV Wim Wolff

Update June 2023

Construction of RV Wim Wolff continues steadily. Before the summer break as many internal systems as possible will be installed and completed. So that the exterior work can be painted when it is quiet on the yard (during the "construction holiday/bouwvak"). After that, the ship will be launched and extensive testing and crew training can take place in the fall.

Most of the work of fitting the synthetic deck panels has already been completed. The base for the A-frame is clearly visible.

One of the drive shafts and electric motors, connected by a thrust bearing that transfers the propulsion power to the vessel’s hull.

Below the vessel we can see the drive shafts surrounded by the propeller duct. Only the propeller needs to be installed.
