Throughout the year, the Wadden Sea -also seen as the breeding ground of the North Sea- is populated by fish species. In Spring when water is warming all kinds of fish come to this nutrient-rich area. Millions of larvae of plaice, flounder and herring will look for small shells, worms and other small animals to eat.
