Directions and accommodation Yerseke
The village of Yerseke is located in the province of Zeeland in the middle of the ‘Delta area’ on the southern border of the Eastern Scheldt.
By air
If you arrive at Schiphol Amsterdam airport or Brussels airport you can reach Yerseke by car or by train in about 2 hours. Yerseke is about 150 km from Schiphol airport (direct train connection each hour) and about 100 km from Brussels airport (indirect train connection each hour). There are also international airports at Antwerp (ca. 50 km, from some UK airports only) and Rotterdam (ca. 100 km), but there are no railway stations at these airports.
By public transport
Kruiningen-Yerseke is an Intercity Railway Station on the track Amsterdam-Roosendaal-Vlissingen. Both from Brussels and Amsterdam the journey lasts about 2 hours. When you arrive at the Kruiningen-Yerseke railway station you can take the bus to "Langeville" ,or a taxi.
Train and bus schedules change regularly and can be downloaded from 9292ov. Depart at busstop 'Langeville'. Head towards the harbour. 'Korringaweg' runs parallel to the banks of Eastern Scheldt (Oosterschelde).
By car
When your car has navigation, the address is: City: Yerseke; Street: Korringaweg 7.
The institute lies about 7 km. north ofhighwat A58 to Vlissingen. You reach the A58 from the north and east via the town of Roosendaal;, proceed to Bergen-op-Zoom and Vlissingen. From the south, leave the Antwerp ring at the exit Bergen-op-Zoom (NL). Close to Yerseke, leave the A58 at the exit 33 'Hansweert-Yerseke',, turn right on the dike, cross the railway and after about 2 km. look for the (black and white) sign Korringaweg (second road to the right after crossing the railway). You arrive in the mussel industry area where NIOZ is the large white building you cannot miss.
